About Lee Kumer

Lee Kumer is an active instructor, choreographer, adjudicator and entrepreneur. She earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from Duquesne University in 1974 and her Master of Science Degree in Education (Secondary Guidance and Counseling) from Duquesne University in 1977.

 

Lee is currently the Director of the Golden Triangle Performance Ensemble and has been with the organization since its inception in 1963. She is also the Visual Ensemble Coordinator for East Allegheny High School. Under her instruction, these units have made appearances in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, won numerous VFW and American Legion State Championships, numerous PFCJ and TRWEA winterguard and marching band championships and a Disney movie premiere at Three River's Stadium.

 

Her high school musical choreography has been nominated twice for the Best Choreography Award in the Gene Kelly Awards.

 

She is a member of the Pennsylvania Federation of Contest Judges and served as its Executive Director for five years. She has also judged with the following prestigious organizations: Winter Guard International, Drum Corps International and Bands of America. Because of her affiliation with these organizations, Lee was invited to be a colorguard clinician in several cities in Japan in 1993.

 

For the past several years, Lee has owned and operated Performer's Comer, a successful retail establishment catering to the needs of dancers, gymnasts, twirlers, colorguards, marching bands, and ice skaters.

 

 

About Michaelene Stanko

Michaelene Stanko was a member of the Golden Triangles from 1975 until 1991. Additionally, she performed with East Allegheny High School and the University of Pittsburgh Golden Girls. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Dance from Point Park University. After several years of performing professionally in the South Florida area, she returned to Pittsburgh. She has worked with many area award-winning band programs, as well as adjudicated for the PFCJ. She is also a yoga instructor. Professionally, Michaelene is a Merchandise Planner for American Eagle Outfitters.

About Tricia Bradley

Tricia Bradley was a member and captain of the Golden Triangle Performance Ensemble and has been involved with the group since 1988.  Additionally, she performed with The Holiday’s Drum and Baton Corp and Plum High School Majorettes.  She holds a Certificate in Medical Secretary and Business Management.  Professionally, Tricia is currently the Information Management Specialist for the US Army Corp of Engineers – Pittsburgh District and holds a High Secret Security Clearance. 

 

Tricia has two children—Zachary & Dalena. Her daughter Dalena took an interest in the Golden Triangles when she was four years of age and has been with the unit since that time.  Dalena was captain of the Junior Ensemble and is currently a Golden Triangle Senior.
